At White Springs this week it’s been mostly dry with a thunderstorm or two.
On the four Pleasure Lakes the fish have been spawning here and there.
On the Specimen Lake they were very close but with the storms and cooler temperature the fish are still not showing any signs.
Wednesdays open was on The New Canal and in 1st place on peg 10 was Dan Bowen with 124lb 07oz.
2nd was Rob White on peg 36 with 90lb.
3rd was Chris Wells peg 24 with 87lb 6oz.
Sundays open on The New Canal saw Jim Hart on peg 15 win, weighing 102lb 2oz, close behind was Alan Godrich on peg 36 with 101lb.
3rd peg 31 Andy Rogers with 98lb 14oz.
4th was Lou Spinks peg 10 with 92lb 11oz
5th Neil Daniels on peg 1 with 88lb 12oz.
On the Big Pit, Justin Davies had a good session with over ten carp.
Jaden Hill was on the Pleasure Lake where he caught his PB of 3lb. He had another spell on the Big Pit under the guidance of Steffan Wolf where he beat his PB again landing a lovely 10lb 7oz carp.
Steffan has had too many to count, up to 15lb. All fish caught on White Springs Boilies.
On The Specimen Lake, Adam Davies fishing on the Soil Shed had a nice session with 3 fish including ‘CTC’ at 29lb 2oz and ‘Trio’ at 36lb 12oz equalling his PB. All caught on CRI.
Simon Clayton continued his good streak with another good session on peg 7 including 26lb common, 27lb mirror and a lovely 29lb mirror.
On his first visit to White Springs Sion Donovan on peg 6 had a nice 24lb 4oz common.
Nick Richards on peg 3 had a nice 25lb mirror.
Angler of the week has to be Anthony Needs who started on peg 10 for a 24hr session and had a 16lb & 21lb mirrors.
He then had to move to 9A and after a couple of hours and landed a new PB, the absolutely stunning common called ‘Hobnob’, weighing in at a healthy 38lb 13oz.
All fish were caught using CR1.
To let everyone know from June 1st every angler on every lake at our complex must have antiseptic carp care treatment, to treat fish’s mouths, cuts, missing scales etc.
Congratulations to everyone on your PB’s.
Well done to all anglers and until next time, tight lines and all.
