It’s been a great week for big fish here at White Springs Fishery.
Jack Jenkins on the Soil Shed had two fish including ‘CTC’ a 31lb 14oz mirror and a new PB.
Sam Childs and Ryan Morley were on cabin 7 for a 72hr session. Sam had four fish with a new PB, the stunning mirror ‘Jaden’ weighing in at 30lb 02oz. Sam would have increased his PB if he didn’t go and help another fishermen. His rod went off and Ryan struck/played and landed the fish a cracking 34lb common called ‘Nessie’.
Ryan was having a tough time on his own road until the last morning, and it was worth the wait. He landed the hard fighting ‘Rambo’ a mirror weighing 37lb 2oz. Just minutes before pulling his rods in he was in again with another mirror ‘The Don’ weighing 36lb 12oz.
Jamie Davies our junior bailiff had a 24hr on peg 6 and had a new PB, a mirror called ‘Trio’ weighing 33lb 9oz. It took a fancy to White Springs’ Squid & Octopus boilies.
Dylan Jones on peg 8 smashed his PB landing ‘Warrior’ a mirror weighing 37lb 10oz.
Tony Evans had a 24hr on peg 8 and also had a PB a mirror called ‘Delboy’ weighing 31lb 2oz.
Angler of the week has to be Rick Coppard on his second visit to us; he was fishing on peg 11. He had five fish including 3 x 30’s.
His first 30 was ‘CTC’s’ cousin’ a mirror weighing 31lb 6oz. 2nd was the stunning common ‘Bailey’ at 35lb 2oz and 3rd was ‘Rambo’ at 36lb 12oz.
He also had a 23lb common and a 17lb mirror.
Well done everyone on your PB’s.
