Its been another wet and cold week with anglers finding it not so easy especially those holding a pole. With the wind making it hard to see the float going under. But Andrew Man fished the match on Sunday and bagged 46.10lb while Nigel Morris fished the canal to land 36lb. Luke Surocking was on peg 14 to land 35.4lb. On the specimen lake John Davies and Lee Calford fished the old cabin to land 3 upper doubles between them Another angler Mark Thomas fished peg 4 to land 3 fish to 22lb. The mid week match was won by Mike Williams with a 103lb of peg 13
Despite the cold wet frosty conditions the fishing has still been quite good, with 22 anglers here last Sunday breaking the ice for 3 hours before they could fish there match. The anglers managed to fish from 12.30-4.30 it was cold and windy but there was some good results with Adam Mitchell on the canal weighing in 62.12lb in 2nd place was Mike Williams with 42.10lb mainly catching carp around the 3lb mark. On the match Lake Nigel Morris done it again on peg 7 weighing 41.6lb 2nd was Simon Jones peg 22 with 40.4lb and in 3rd was Eddie Exhall peg 14 with 40lb. The weights were all close making it all very interesting to the end whistle. The pit has also produced some nice bream and roach the last week. The specimen lake has been slow but fish around the 20lb mark are showing more mid-water as the fish are just cruising just looking to hard for food.
