It’s been a good week at the fishery and the fishing has been pretty good. The White Springs open on Sunday was on the Match Lake.
1st peg 7 Alan Godrich 79lb 8oz.
2nd peg 10 Ryan Drummer 45lb 8oz.
3rd peg 21 Mick Brown 39lb 10oz.
Sir Howy were on the New Canal on Sunday.
1st peg 20 Rob Jones 120lb 6oz.
2nd peg 18 Andrew Crocker 106lb 15oz.
3rd peg 23 Valdi 89lb 9oz.
4th Peg 41 Phil Weaver 86lb 6oz.
On the Pleasure Lake Jason Hiorns and his young lad had a good day catching bream to 3lb and a Pb roach almost a 1lb and carp to 8lb 4oz a Pb for Jason and also an eel.
Tom Evans had good day fishing for silvers with about 60lb including bream to 4lb and a cracking roach almost 2lb.
On the Big Pit Chris Macey and his cousin Jon were looking for perch, just before they were about to leave Jon caught a cracking 4lb 13oz pb perch and what a fish it was.
Young lad Ethan Morrison was fishing with his dad on the weekend and caught his pb carp weighing 21lb 6oz.
Shaun Williams normally fishes the Specimen Lake but tried the Big Pit and caught his pb of 22lb.
8yr old Jaden Hill had 5 carp he wasn’t very happy as he lost a big one at the net which would have easily beaten his 10lb pb.
On the Specimen Lake Sam Childs fished 8a landed a small double but lost 2 fish one being a lump.
Dave Smith was on Jaden’s cabin (peg 1) and had 3 fish including a beautiful common ‘Chunk’ weighing 30lb 9oz a new pb.
Anthony Needs fished the Soil Shed and had 4 fish the best a nice 25lb mirror,.
Sioned Weeks was on 11a and had a 21lb 6oz mirror
Neil Say had a great session on peg 7 ha had 8 takes and landed 6 fish including 3 17lbers a 26lb common and a lovely mirror weighing 30lb 2oz called CTC’s Cousin, he also had Mr Happy topping the scales at 30lb 11oz.
