Latest Fishery News
It?s been another excellent week for the matches.
The Wednesday night match has again produced some very large bags of fish.
Held on the match lake, the 3hour session produced a winner in the form of Mike Williams from peg 13 with an exceptional catch weighing 110lb 8oz?s. That certainly is some achievement over that period of time.
Results Wednesday 13th July.
Fishing the late evenings seems to be the most fruitful of late.
Well done to you all.
The pirates fished what I think is their first match of the season on the Old Canal.
The Sunday match has produced some large bags. Chris Wells fishing peg 20 landed fish to 84lb 1oz. followed closely by Jim Hutton with a haul 71lb 12oz.
The Pleasure Lake and Pit are still fishing very well. Plenty of catches for middle sized carp being reported from both lakes.
The Pit again producing a few tench and some large bream are the standout feature of the two lakes.
Reports coming from the Specimen Lake have been a little slow as there have been a lack of anglers out of late. Some carp have been reported but it can?t produce all the time especially due to the constant change in the weather conditions.
I would just like to remind all anglers again, that the Nash Road Show rolls into White Springs the weekend after next.
If it is as successful as last year then you can all look forward to an excellent display. Lots of stalls with all the latest luggage, end tackle and bait. Plus there will be the Bivvy Alley, where there will be a full range of the Nash shelters, brollies and bivvies complimented with all the latest bed chairs, chairs and sleeping bags.
Bring the family along and get some great road show discounts.
I myself will be on the bank this coming weekend and for the Nash Road Show.
