The match lakes again have produced some very large bags.

The Wednesday match saw Mike Williams land 110lb 6oz in just three hours.

The results were:

1. Mike Williams 110lb 6oz.

2. Ryan Hughes 77lb 13oz.

3. Andrew Crocker 77lb 12oz.

4. Tony Wale 76lb 8oz.

Well done lads and an excellent result from the canals.

Carp and bream have been caught on regular basis from all lakes.

Anglers from as far as Texas USA having been visiting the fishery this week.

Rock Doe managed to land 72lb in a day session from peg 11 on the match lake.

His brother Mike Doe managed to catch 93lb 6oz from peg 13.

The specimen lake has again been slow. The biggest carp recorded through the week being a 25lb mirror. Things will pick up soon.

The Tony Smith Memorial places have been going fast and this is a reminder that there are now only two places left for the event which is being held Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2011. This is a well supported charity match on the specimen lake in aid of cancer research.
