White Springs Report

Another good week for some anglers, with Jason McLaughlin from Bridgend done a 3 day session off peg 1 (the old cabin) and landed 10 fish, with 5 of them being over 20lb and the biggest 28.2 mirror caught on lamos nuts caramel boilies. Lee Calford and his boy Ieaun fished out of cabin no11 to land 3 fish the best being a 23.5lb common. On the pleasure side the pit has been producing some good fish. Morgan Woods landed a 18lb koi caught on White Springs boilies. The canals have produced some good perch with reports from John Davies that he landed several perch over the 4lb mark caught on red maggot. The canal was fished in very windy conditions but produced for Adam Mitchell bagging up 79.8lb 2nd was Mike Williams with 72lb. Skewen Angling club fished on the match lake with Peter Williams weighing in 51.3lb 2nd was Neil Daniels with 46.5lb.
