Spent many years coarse fishing for tiddlers along Liverpool to Leeds canal, bought a 10ft whip and found that pole fishing was really easy and fun so i progressed onto pole fishing for a while and bought the gear needed, nothing special just enough to go and have some quality fishing. Gave up fishing for a few years due to bad health problems,

Got back into the fishing early 2008 and after always wondering what carp fishing was all about i decided to have a crack at it so again i got a few bits together, downloaded all the under water fishing series from korda and went obsessive about korda and bought almost every piece of korda thinking tackle that was available. I got a few books on rigs and made a few up and started off from there,

nearly two years down the line no punn intended lol i have added to my tackle and now have a full set up with rod pods and all that gear, but to be totally honest i keep blanking i am sticking to what i learn from the fishing shows and what i observe others doing at venues but i can't seem to land a carp i have caught many breem , tench descent perch and rudd but no matter what end tackle i use or baits i cant seem to catch carp, so this is why i have a shitty picture of a bream but i am coming to white springs end of may and hope this is where i land my first carp i am praying i do this, if anyone can offer any help or tips to aid me accomplish this goal i would be so greatful. thanks,
