About Me

I have been a regular at the fishery since the early 90's. I usually fish the Specimen lake and occasionally the pit with either my missus (Rhiannon) or uncle (Keith). My mirror PB is 32lb and common PB at 23lb currently but i just enjoy fishing the venue and its hospitable atmosphere.

I have seen the venue develop from a family owned pleasure/ trout fishery in the early days to the best day ticket venue in the UK and home to Wales' largest carp Megan.

Hay Les,thanks for your constuctive comment on "carp arnt the only species" i posted this week.
it was very informative.
i never knew the specimen lake contained so many other species and im now in two minds wether to give it a go,its just the price puts me off lol.im unemployed now due to no fault of my own so £14 a bit steep for me thats why i fish the other lakes, preferably the new canal and only during the week as weekends get too hectic.
Thanks again,,tho i can see i upset a certain person lol...
ill have a chat to Vince and see if i can get some sort of price reduction to give the specimen lake a try for other species instead of carp,,i can only ask :-)
tight lines mate,and thanks
