The Specimen pool is a 9.5 acre lake with plenty of islands and lily beds to fish to.
It's ideal for those anglers looking for a challenge however it is not for beginners and you must have the correct tackle to deal with the large carp of up to 44lb that can be found here.


There are plenty of mid to upper double figure carp, with a really big head of twenty's too.
With fish of this size present, it is essential to make sure that your tackle is up to scratch.
There are many features to fish to all around the lake.


Lily pads, weed beds, silt, gravel bars and lots of overhanging foliage too.
The lake fishes well throughout the whole year, with winter being exceptional for the bigger fish captures.
On the specimen pool are 2 well equiped cabins with electric supply, fridge and plenty of space to store your tackle.
Lake depths range from just 2 feet to well over 8 feet. The margins and open water can be worth targetting, as many anglers just cast to the islands.
A good food boilie will score well in a little but often approach. Small PVA bags presentations with boilies and pellets can also fish well too.
