News and Catch Reports Post New Entry

It’s been a very cold at the fishery this week. On Sunday it was the 4th round of the winter league

On the Match Lake.

1st Rob Jones peg 13 52lb 8oz

2nd Mikey Williams peg 18 37lb 12oz

3rd Ryan Drummer peg 14 32lb 8oz

4th Luke Sorokin peg 20 26lb 8oz

5th Andrew Ford peg 7 22lb

On the New Canal.

1st Adam Mitchell peg 32 96lb 11oz

2nd Andy Kirtley peg 17 49lb 12oz

3rd Nigel Morris peg 23 44lb 14oz

4th Ian Exall peg 14 35lb 13oz

5th James Thomas peg 29 26lb 5oz.

The Specimen Lake has fished very well with fish coming off pegs all around the lake until the cold snap came in on Friday.

Mark Powel on peg 8 had a nice 25lb 2oz common.

Paco Joce fished 8a and had a 20lb 2oz mirror.

Darren Mason had a 21lb 7oz mirror on peg 11a.

Carys Anthony was on the Old Cabin and caught a lovely dark 24lb 10oz mirror.

Iwan Davies fished 3a and caught 3 fish 20lb and over including a 22lb 7oz Pb.

On the Old Cabin John Baz Ferns was fishing and caught his pb a mirror weighing 31lb 11oz called ‘DropTail’ .

Gareth Mayer made his long trip down from Stoke on Trent.

Gareth was on a favourite peg of his The Island.

He managed to catch a stunning mirror at 30lb 8oz it was the first time caught and Gareth named it ‘The Big Lin’.

Daniel Andrews who’s fished here for a few years finally managed his first 30lb carp. He was on Meg’s Corner and landed the stunning ‘Double D’ at 31lb 9oz a Pb for a mirror.

Ryan Donahoe and his mum fished the Soil Shed and did very well. Ryan caught a beauty of a common called ’Chunk’ weighing 31lb 2oz, but was outdone by his mum Sharon this time. Sharon had a lovely 25lb mirror followed with a new pb a cracking common called ‘Mr Tuts’ weighing 32lb.

Darren Gravell ended a bad run of blanks he fished peg 7 and caught a 25lb mirror. Congratulations to everyone with their PB’s.
