It’s been a very busy week at the fishery with the Specimen Lake full almost every day; we closed the Pleasure Lake this week for improvements sorry if this has inconvenienced any one. White Springs open on Wednesday was on the New Canal.
1st peg 14 58lb 4oz Alan Godrich.
2nd peg 26 59lb Paddy Paine.
3rd peg 19 44lb 12oz Brian Prothero.
Sundays open was also on the New Canal with 18 anglers attending.
1st peg 17 95lb 12oz Andrew Wray.
2nd peg 41 61lb 12oz Ben Hicks.
3rd peg 11 55lb 10oz Chris Wells.
4th peg 21 54lb 4oz Dick Brunton.
Aberglais were on the Match Lake on Sunday.
1st Peg 26 Andrew Jones 75lb 11oz.
2nd peg 5 Paddy Paine 64lb 11oz.
3rd peg 14 Brian Prothero 56lb 7oz.
On the Big Pit Ricky John had a 14lb common and a 19lb mirror.
Danny Fletcher had 4 fish, a cracking 20lber the best.
On the Pleasure Lake young angler Mason Jones had a good day catching plenty of carp, some really pretty ones too.
On the Specimen Lake Chris Lloyd has his 1st ever grass carp at 21lb 7oz off peg 6.
On peg 7 Jack Turner had 3 fish including a new pb a 29lb 6oz mirror.
Lee Stokes was with him and also had 3 fish up to 23lb 12oz.
Alan Evans was peg 8 and had a good session as always. He had 3 fish, a beautiful 23lb 6oz mirror, a 29lb 12oz mirror ‘Scar’ and a 34lb 6oz common ‘Bailey’.
Paul Thomas fished peg 13 and caught Captain Hook at 30lb 6oz.
Mark Edwards caught the Turk at 30lb 8oz off The Island.
Chris Robinson was on peg 11 and had a nice 24lb 10oz mirror.
Tommy Andrews caught a nice mirror ‘Two Scale’ at 33lb 3oz on peg 7.
Connor Coleman had 5 fish including 3 20’s, biggest 24lb 7oz off peg 6 then moved to the Soil Shed and had a nice 18lb 6oz ghosty.
Andrew Edwards fished 9a and had ‘Jasper’ at 33lb 2oz.
Georgia Griffiths fished peg 8a and had a new Pb ‘Mr Angry’ at 31lb 8oz.
Gary from Newport had 2 fish a double mirror and a nice 20lb common off 8A. It’s nice to see the fish coming from all over the lake. Congrats to everyone on their PB’s.
