17th December 2019 Catch Report

The weather has been wet and windy with some really heavy hailstone showers on the weekend. White springs open on Wednesday was on the pleasure lake.

1st Alan Godrich 68lb 7oz

2nd Chris Bradley 65lb 7oz

3rd Jim Hart 39lb 13oz

On Sunday white springs open was on the match lake

1st Chris wells 131lb 14oz

2nd Nigel Morris 58lb 8oz

3rd Ian Exall 47lb 2oz

Rob Jones caught 163lb 12oz but went over the net limit and lost 161lb.

Net limits: 70lb max if over but under 80lb you get knocked back (i.e. 75lb would become 65lb) if over 80lb you lose the whole net.

On the pit, with the bad weather it’s been quiet. But anglers who braved the conditions have caught steadily. Kevin Clark had a nice 2lb 4oz perch on the pit.

On the specimen lake Curtis James was on Jaden’s cabin and caught 2 mid doubles. Sam Childs fished cabin 11 and had 2 fish including the awesome ‘Bailey’ a 38lb common. On 9a Lloyd Waghorn was fishing and beat his Pb again landing ‘JR’ a lovely mirror weighing 31lb 2oz. On cabin 7 Elliot Graham did a 24hr and after an hour or so of setting up he had the mighty ‘Bruno’ on the bank weighing in at 40lb 6oz and a new PB. Martin Mathews was on peg 6a and saved a blank with a 23lb mirror. Memberships are available for the next year Congratulations to everyone on your PB’s
