Fishing report 4th Feb

The weather has been mild but wet and windy at times with the fishing being ok. On Tuesday the pirates were on the Pleasure Lake.

1st peg 7 Alan Godrich 172lb 8oz

2nd peg 6 Dai Evans 21lb 7oz

3rd Peg 5 Jason Pritchard 19lb 12oz

On Sunday white springs open was on the match lake

1st Peg 14 Chris Wells 84lb 14oz

2nd peg 13 Chris Oag 68lb 8oz

3rd Peg 7 Nigel Morris 68lb 6oz

On the pleasure lake Richard Fisher had plenty of fish between 3 – 6lbs and a lovely 14lb mirror, Steve Welsh had a perch almost 2lb. martin Rees fished for silvers and had a nice day catching ide, chub, bream, roach, tench and also the elusive Barbel. On the pit young angler Callum Yeo was here with his dad and caught a lovely 21lb 2oz common and a new PB as well. Richard Cook caught a lovely 20lb 3oz mirror; Dave Roberts had a good day fishing for perch mainly. He had loads of skimmers/bream and big roach, he also had 5 perch including one a 2lb 3oz and a cracking 3lb 13oz. Dan Jones son Eddie also caught a nice 2lb perch. Natalie Hall had a mad day, she had her rod and pod pulled into the pond luckily bailiff Steve welsh was on hand to help. He cast a lead and managed to hook the line and get the rod back. Natalie then landed a nice double figure mirror carp (please stat tight to your rods).

On the Specimen Lake Ryan Brown fished out of cabin 9 and had a good session. He caught 3 fish including the mighty Bruno weighing in at exactly 40lb. Ryan was over joyed with his new PB. On cabin 7 Elliot graham had another a team fish catching Bailey a stunning common weighing 37lb 6oz. Martin Mathews did a week session on the soil shed cabin and had ten fish including a beautiful 21lb mirror and a 27lb 6oz mirror. Darren Gravell fished cabin 11 and had a blank saving mid double. Thomas Samuel on Jaden’s cabin had a 20lb+ common using CR1 yellow pop up. Well done to everyone on your PB’s
